Job Description
SENIOR ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT, Sloan School of Management-Office of Global Programs, to support international programs, partnerships, and outreach as part of the strategic mission of MIT Sloan Global Programs (GP). Will coordinate the planning, organizing, and prioritizing of activities and perform complex administrative and operational duties and processes to ensure successful and timely completion of work/projects. Responsibilities include handling day-to-day operational, administrative, operational activities and logistics for programs; assisting with relationship management and fulfilling commitments made by university partners in their respective contracts and responding to inquiries; acting as a point of contact for program partners, effectively communicating program goals and activities and posting course syllabus and reading materials to online teaching platforms; maintaining compliance with visa application policies and procedures by working closely with internal multi-stakeholders to successfully onboard international students, scholars, and/or visiting faculty; and maintaining program budgets.

REQUIRED: high school diploma or its equivalent; at least five years of administrative and/or project/program management experience; strong project management skills, including the ability to scope and lead complex projects, set priorities, meet deadlines, contribute as a team player, and understand budgets; excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to multitask and manage competing priorities for multiple programs or projects; experience effectively planning logistics well in advance of program activities; and discretion and judgment with confidential information and/or issues. PREFERRED: strong MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite skills, experience with project management tools like Asana and Slate, the admissions portal, flexibility when managing multiple projects, experience collaborating with others and across teams, and proven ability to support a culture of experimentation. This position will be eligible for flexible work arrangements on a continuing weekly basis and be required to be on campus when the programs being managed are visiting MIT Sloan.
